Writing the final thesis at Celonis has proven to be particularly rewarding. I was not only supported from the very beginning with data acquisition and technical questions, but also worked very independently and was given responsibility early on. This led to a great experience of a big learning curve and a successful bachelor thesis, which was awarded 3rd place at the Newcomer Award 2020 of the International Controller Association (ICV).
As Celonis was already extremely flexible and helpful in the choice of topic, I was able to optimally combine my previous experience in the production environment and my great interest in digital innovations in my bachelor thesis with the topic "Use Cases for and Implementation of Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Data in a Process Mining Application". I was especially supported in obtaining the machine data necessary for my POC, which came from two production plants of one of Celonis' largest customers. On this basis, I was able to work very independently and in close cooperation with the customer and achieved very good results, which are followed up internally, and to my great pleasure I was awarded 3rd place at the Newcomer Awards 2020 of the International Controller Association (ICV).
