The mission continues. Opening Celosphere 2025, Celonis co-founder and co-CEO Alexander Rinke called on thousands of changemakers and process experts to embrace the next great transformation: making Enterprise AI truly work.

Enterprise AI is more than just technology. It’s a strategic practice, a discipline for infusing AI throughout your operations. To make it work, Rinke told the event’s 3,000+ attendees, it needs three things: to understand the context of how your business runs, to be deployed strategically in the right places, and to work with everything else you’re already doing.

"This is what Celonis and our partners help our customers do. We give their AI the context it needs,” Rinke said. “We guide them to deploy it in the right places. And, we enable them to make it work with everything else they’re doing.”

Process Intelligence is the missing layer that completes your AI stack to make Enterprise AI really work–giving AI the context to understand how work flows across systems, teams, and functions. Rinke and his team set the stage for this year’s Celosphere, unveiling new updates and enhancements to our products, and showing how they are transforming business operations.

Enterprise AI, powered by Process Intelligence (PI)

The enterprise of the future is both AI-driven and composable. And during the event, Celonis announced major platform innovations that power enterprise AI to reinvent and continuously improve business operations.

During his platform keynote, Daniel Brown, Chief Product Officer at Celonis, emphasized the need for a structured approach to agentic AI. “To truly operationalize AI, you need to identify the right use cases, redesign your business processes, and orchestrate the agents alongside your people and existing systems," Brown said. "Our enhanced capabilities empower our customers and their partners to build AI solutions that lift their operations to unprecedented levels of efficiency and agility.”

Brown walked through the crowd through the Platform’s three layers:

  1. Data Core: Celonis’ high-performance data infrastructure, which lets companies extract data from any source and query billions of records at speed, scaling to even the largest enterprise volumes.
  2. Process Intelligence Graph: The heart of the Celonis Platform, which takes the extracted data and combines it with your unique business context to create a living digital twin of your operations that’s system-agnostic and without bias.
  3. Build Experience: New capabilities where you consume the knowledge from the Process Intelligence Graph to analyze, design, and operate composable, AI-driven business processes. Here, organizations can build and operate new applications that are strategic, operational, and business-critical.

During the event, Celonis showcased exciting updates across each of these layers to help organizations build their enterprise of the future. The enhancements help customers:

  • Integrate data lakes without data duplication using Celonis Data Core (generally available). Get data from and feed Process Intelligence back into data lakes with zero-copy bi-directional integrations. Now available for Databricks in addition to Microsoft.
  • Build a richer, more comprehensive digital twin. Connect desktop actions (keystrokes, mouse clicks, and screen scrolls) to business processes with enhanced Task Mining capabilities and AI-driven Task Discovery. Integrate unstructured data like PDFs, semi-structured data like emails, and data from beyond the organization’s boundaries with Celonis Networks.
  • Integrate enterprise architecture blueprints with live operational reality. This ensures IT and AI understand which systems are used for which activities, allowing them to make decisions based on real-world performance.
  • Populate the digital twin faster with 60+ pre-built objects and events, and new AI assistants for Data Extraction and Data Modeling.

The Enterprise AI lifecycle

AI needs to know how your business flows in order to be effective, but to get the most value out of your AI investment, you also need to identify the right use cases and redesign your processes to integrate AI effectively.

VP of Product Management, Divya Krishnan, unveiled a powerful new Build Experience that unifies analysis, design, and operations into a single, composable AI-ready workflow.

The platform now supports every stage of the enterprise AI lifecycle:

  • Analyze: With new process mining tools like Performance Spectrum, Instance Explorer, and the Object-Centric Performance app, you can detect new process patterns and diagnose issues where multiple processes intersect.
  • Design: The blueprint for your new, AI-driven process based on the insights you’ve gained from your analysis where you can model your ideal workflows, pinpointing the exact moments where an AI agent should act versus where a person needs to be in the loop.
  • Operate: Activate your design and leverage AI’s ability to seamlessly scale. With Orchestration Engine you can execute your new processes end-to-end, coordinating agents, humans, and systems in real time, getting the most out of the old and new of your tech stack.

And now, Orchestration Engine is generally available as a core integrated capability of the Celonis platform. Together with these capabilities, you can enable your enterprise to continuously improve performance.

Good things grow from open ecosystems

The enterprise of the future won’t be built by a single vendor. It will be powered by an open ecosystem, with Process Intelligence as the connective tissue. Eugenio Cassiano, SVP of Strategy and Innovation, introduced the concept of the Composable Enterprise, powered by the Celonis platform and ecosystem.

He revealed the Celonis Process Intelligence MCP Server, a universal connector that lets any agent plug into our platform, share intelligence, and instantly work together, all grounded in real process context–making it easier for developers, partners and customers to build interoperable AI agents.

With Celonis, you’ve always been able to measure value. Now, you can attribute that value across AI initiatives and composable solutions.

The enterprise of the future

The Celosphere 2025 keynote demonstrated that an AI-driven and composable enterprise is achievable through major innovations and new capabilities that extend your company’s processes.

The Celonis platform is the essential foundation on which to build the AI-driven, composable enterprise of the future, but the platform’s power isn't just in the technology–it's in a vibrant community of changemakers. Making Enterprise AI work won’t be the work of a single company, but rather customers and partners working together to make it a reality that will transform and continuously improve your operations–not just fixing problems, but preventing them altogether.

In his concluding words, Rinke emphasizes, “The foundation is here. The opportunity is massive. It’s time to go build the future.”
