Accenture created an ML Based workbench where the algorithm identifies invoices which are prone missing out on Cash Discounts
In order to address the business challenge of visibility and control over invoices prone to missing out on cash discounts, we created an ML Based workbench where, based on an agreed set of data points and historical cash discount violations, the algorithm identifies invoices with cash discounts where the due date is approaching. We also see a market, company code, and region-wise distribution of such invoices. The app further links the identified invoices to an execution gap where invoices are prioritized based on probability and due date. The app leverages user-specific views and ensures that no invoice misses out on the savings potential. What may seem insignificant for individual orders, however, accumulates more and moreover a quarter or the whole year. Without a systematic overview of these key figures, such problems are rarely noticed.
