Together at Celosphere

Last week was a very special week. It was one of those experiences that makes it clear that we are all on a very exciting mission - together.

It started off with me standing in the literal and virtual backstage of Celosphere 2021, preparing myself for the ultimate countdown.

The teams were working hard on all of the details and finishing touches. And the clock was quickly ticking down.

2 hours until lights on...1 hour until the virtual doors open...and then here comes our awesome suitcase — working its way around the world to the main stage of this year’s event.

Then boom. We were all in. We were all in Celosphere together!

And this year was very different. The word together had a different meaning. We were together in hearts and minds. But not physically together in the same room. And, as I shared in my opening keynote, that’s our reality, but that missing human element is hard to ignore.

We knew that we did everything possible to make the three days at Celosphere last week a valuable investment for you and your careers. At the same time, it’s hard to ask anybody to spend more time in front of their screens than we already do. We knew we had a packed agenda with amazing customers, partners, and industry leaders. We also knew we were missing something.

We were missing each other. And we needed to do something together that would make a meaningful difference in our lives and time together. So, that’s why I can say - hand on heart - that sending thousands of flowers for the family members of our customers and friends of Celosphere was our best way to connect all of us together. And it created some joy and smiles, too.

Then the days flew by but my memories are here to stay.

I can speak for the entire team when I say that standing in front of 15,000 of the best of the best in business execution and process mining gathered at Celosphere was a humbling experience. We still remember our first conference when we were ecstatic about meeting with a few hundred process mining enthusiasts. How things change!

And our innovation roll out was also a major milestone. We have done a lot of product releases, but I can’t remember when we updated and enhanced virtually every element of our product offerings and platform—from a new set of Execution Apps to hundreds of enhancements to our Execution Management Platform.

Our engineers and product teams worked so hard because we know that process mining is truly the gateway to execution management. It’s the gateway to running your business processes and operations entirely on data and intelligence.

And it wasn’t just us saying this. We all heard from Fortune 500 leaders about how core business functions have changed forever. We learned how customers were eliminating billions in corporate inefficiencies. We were challenged to break the status quo by an Olympic gold medalist. More than 50+ customers showed us how they turned process excellence into superior business execution. More than 40+ partners opened up execution management and process mining to the entire business ecosystem.

And all of this just shows that the Celosphere community is made of pioneers. Together, we drove process mining to become one of the hottest technology investments in business - it’s on fire! And together we are building another breakthrough category to change the way businesses are run with execution management.

Let’s keep the Celosphere momentum going in all of your businesses. We are making all of the great sessions easy to access and available on demand. So be sure to invite your peers and teammates to check it all out.

We will be seeing you in our fall World Tour and, of course, at next year’s Celosphere!

Let’s go!
