A highlight of the Enterprise AI calendar, the latest annual Global Ecosystem Hackathon was co-hosted by Celonis and Amazon Web Services (AWS) on June 30. Now in its fifth year, this one-day event set AWS and Celonis partners the task of creating, validating, and taking to market Celonis-powered AI solutions.

At a time when businesses are still struggling to generate ROI from their AI investments, it was particularly exciting to see nearly a dozen teams from across EMEA, APAC, and NAM innovating together, both in person and virtually from Bengaluru, Munich, Madrid, and New York City. The participants were challenged to build AI agents in AWS Bedrock that simplified their day-to-day use of Celonis, demonstrated context-awareness by consuming Celonis as an intelligence layer, or translated agentic capability into clear customer value. Their solutions were judged on creativity, potential impact, and feasibility.

Three regional winners were selected at the Hackathon and the global winner will be announced during the Changemaker Panel & Celosphere Awards at Celosphere 2026 in December – yet another reason to secure your place if you haven’t already. Celosphere’s closing event starts with a mini-panel from a groundbreaking Celonis customer, featuring users from every level of the enterprise. Then comes Celonis’ (shorter, sweeter) answer to the Golden Globes: an awards ceremony celebrating the standout achievements of Celonis customers, Ecosystem partners, and AI Lab & Process Earth Sprint finalists.

Let’s take a look at the regional Global Ecosystem Hackathon winners hoping to be crowned victorious onstage in Munich later in the year.

NAM winner: Autonomous Maintenance Hub from Deloitte

Opportunity: Most manufacturers are stuck in a reactive approach to maintenance – and it’s costing them greatly. The world’s 500 biggest companies lose approximately $1.4T a year (roughly 11% of revenue) on downtime alone, yet 67% of manufacturers still only fix failures after they hit. Deloitte sought to break this pattern with a solution for predictive maintenance, production efficiency, and agentic planning and buying. This solution will turn maintenance from an unpredictable cost center into a compounding source of uptime, savings, and incremental revenue.

Solution: The Deloitte Autonomous Maintenance Hub uses intelligence generated in the Celonis Context Model (CCM), based on data from processes, source systems, physical and IOT devices, third parties (including vendor catalogs and spec sheets), and institutional knowledge. The CCM captures how work actually flows across systems, while providing adaptive forecasting and what-if scenario planning. With this operational context and intelligence informing the AWS agentic layer, agents can predict failures, procure non- or out-of-stock parts, and optimize equipment.

APAC winner: Autonomous Tariff Exposure & Procurement Response from Wipro

Opportunity: Wipro calculated that proactively identifying tariff exposure and recovering value through automated negotiations and alternate sourcing can save companies $50M-$200M+ annually. Meanwhile, faster decision-making can reduce review and approval cycles by 60-80% – enabling actions in minutes instead of weeks. Continuously monitoring risks and recommending alternate suppliers can improve Supply Chain agility by 30-50%. And automating contract analysis, RFQ generation, supplier communications, and approvals will free Procurement teams to focus on strategic value creation.

Solution: Wipro’s Autonomous Tariff Exposure & Procurement Response combines AWS Agentic AI and Celonis to continuously detect tariff and Supply Chain disruptions, assess their impact on suppliers, contracts, and purchase orders, and autonomously drive negotiations, alternate sourcing, and Procurement actions.

EMEA winner: AI-Powered Explainability for Service Parts Planning from ClearOps

Opportunity: OEM Parts Planners can’t trust order proposals from black-box AI algorithms whose output they can’t explain. Every exception, replenishment recommendation, and emergency order requires hours of manual digging through multiple source systems, process data, and external signals. And without explainable proposals, planning parameters can’t be optimized, overrides remain high, and autonomous planning isn’t possible or scalable.

Solution: ClearWhy AI from ClearOps uses live process context in the CCM (from inventory, orders, supplier performance, and fill rate) to improve AWS Bedrock Agents’ explainability and drive confident decision-making. Clear, human-readable explanations in the Celonis Platform, backing up trusted AI recommendations, can reduce working capital by 25%. Additionally, eliminating manual investigations and emergency orders can cut operational costs by 20%. By building the trust required for AI-driven replenishment decisions, ClearOps’ solution enables businesses’ transition to autonomous planning.
