SYDNEY, MUNICH and NEW YORK, June 12, 2025 – Celonis, a global leader in Process Mining, and True Alliance, one of the largest distributors of premium brands in Australia and New Zealand, today announced their collaboration to strengthen compliance and internal controls within True Alliance’s procurement operations. Supported by implementation partner TEC150, True Alliance is leveraging the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform to enhance audit capabilities, ensure robust governance in its purchasing processes, and ensure a smooth transition during their SAP S/4HANA migration.

Strengthening Controls: Enhancing Compliance and Supporting Transformation

True Alliance is strategically utilizing the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform within its procurement function, specifically the Procurement Execution App, and across the company to support its S/4HANA migration. Rather than focusing solely on traditional process optimization, the company leverages Celonis for critical compliance, auditing, and internal control activities. This data-driven approach provides objective visibility into how purchasing processes are actually executed, allowing True Alliance to:

• Enhance Compliance and Auditability: By creating a living digital twin of their procurement processes, Celonis enables True Alliance to continuously monitor activities against defined policies and controls, simplifying audit preparations and demonstrating compliance.
• Strengthen Internal Controls: The platform identifies deviations from standard procedures, highlighting opportunities to reinforce internal controls and address potential risks proactively. This ensures processes operate as intended, reducing manual oversight requirements.
• Support S/4HANA Transformation: Celonis will support True Alliance’s S/4HANA transformation, providing objective insights into process execution (the 'as-is' state) to ensure a smooth and effective transition to the ‘to-be’ state. True Alliance is also evaluating Celonis as a platform to enhance compliance across Finance, including duplicate invoice checking, payment terms checking, reducing aging credit memos, and GST compliance.
