Picture a world-class orchestra. A sublime string section, brilliant brass, wondrous woodwinds, and perfect percussion. What – or rather, who – brings them all together, sparking memorable performances with inspiration and drive? The conductor. The person at the center.

Conductors are value achievers – making the good great, and the great, well, greater. This emphasis on the pivotal role individuals play in elevating performance to new levels is the beating heart of the Celonis Value Achiever Program.

Creating intrapreneurs

The Celonis website is brimming with use cases, solutions, apps, and customer stories detailing how our Process Intelligence platform helps businesses realize greater value and effectiveness. The Value Achiever Program completes the circle by putting people at the center.

“Celonis is not just about the technology,” says Dr. Lars Reinkemeyer, Chief Evangelist at Celonis and Value Achiever Program director. “Our most successful customers have one common secret for success: people with an intrapreneurial mindset, people who want to take maximum advantage of Celonis’ capabilities to scale value and impact. Value achievers."

The Program is a masterclass for ambitious Center of Excellence (CoE) and transformation leaders eager to max-out the impact the Celonis platform can realize for their organization. It’s about building and amplifying this intrapreneurial mindset to deliver enhanced real-world results. (For the avoidance of doubt, intrapreneurs act as entrepreneurs within their organization to create value). Like our orchestra conductor, value achievers are living, breathing catalysts for galvanizing performance. Let’s take a closer look at the program that helps them do it.

How does the Value Achiever Program work?

Celonis runs the Value Achiever Program jointly with the Fraunhofer Institute (one of the world’s leading applied research organizations) across Munich, Madrid, New York and Bengaluru. During the in-person, four-day training, participants learn best practices, apply these to their individual situation and present results to the group.

The centerpiece of the experience is enabling participants to develop their own ambitious transformation masterplan. The plan is structured as a quarter-by-quarter roadmap to multiplying the value from the Process Intelligence platform by a factor of X within 12 months. Not in theory, but how they actually intend to bring about this transformation in their organization.

The six streams

While the Program is tailored to help individuals create value based on the dynamics of their specific companies, the coaching (and the transformation plans) is built on six core workstreams:

  1. Value: Using Celonis’ unique path-to-value methodology, helping participants identify, frame, and realize value opportunities available to them, and quantifying potential growth over the span of their 12-month plan.
  2. Process: The intrapreneurs learn to develop a Process Roadmap, apply best practices for key processes to remove bottlenecks and create effective, optimized workflows.
  3. Governance: With adoption of enhanced processes essential to value generation, this stream focuses on building and growing a CoE team to drive adoption and process adherence.
  4. Management: Ensuring participants secure and maintain active executive engagement, and align plans and progress with strategic objectives by establishing regular quarterly business (QBRs) meetings.
  5. People: This stream focuses on engaging and enabling colleagues to form a strong, effective, and supportive Celonis user community to drive Change Management and performance in the workplace.
  6. Technology: This is all about leveraging the full potential of the Celonis Process Intelligence platform, from system connections and data integration through to end-to-end process visualizations and deployment of AI agents.

“Each stream is crucial for sustainable success and backed by years-long experience and research,” Reinkemeyer explains. “Participants start by assessing their current situation and discovering best practices from research and operations, which they can then take action on .”

“After the onsite training we get them together on a quarterly basis to review their plans, assess whether they’re on track, the challenges and pitfalls they’ve faced, and help participants overcome such issues.”

Who is the Value Achiever Program for?

The Value Achiever Program is open to existing Celonis customers that have typically already realized a first $1 million in value. It’s also important that any participant should have clear executive support. If you’re going to be a Value Achiever, you’ve got to have the scope and license to deliver real impact. And that means having the C-suite (or similar) in your corner.

But mindset is most crucial, as Reinkemeyer explains: “It’s that intrapreneurial mindset we are looking for. People who are saying, ‘I'm not satisfied by just deploying or operating software. That's not my thing. I’m ambitious, I wanna do more. I want to use Celonis to drive value and impact for the business as an intrapreneur. I want to hit hard for the organization and also accelerate my own career.’”

What are the benefits of the Value Achiever Program?

Accelerated value

The Program provides a host of individual and organizational benefits. First and foremost, it’s about driving value creation via accelerated, optimized application of the Celonis Process Intelligence platform. The small-group expert-level coaching, addressing participants’ own specific business challenges plus the development of individual transformation plans, turns learning to earning in double-quick time.

Take the cohorts to date. Those 70 intrapreneurs arrived at the Value Achiever Program with a combined $300 million value already realized through Celonis. They left with realistic, specific transformation plans targeting $1.4 billion of value to be realized within the next 12 months. Effectively scaling value by a factor of almost five.

Peer network learning

Learning, developing, and networking with like-minded peers is consistently one of the biggest benefits cited by previous alumni of the Value Achiever Program. While the industries may be different, many of the challenges are the same – and shared, relatable real-world experiences can amplify the impact of the coaching.

“You see it each time,” says Reinkemeyer. “At the beginning of the four days people are a bit cautious, a bit quiet about any challenges. And then they open up. They see how their peers are going through similar issues – like engaging a sponsor or driving adoption – or how they’ve uncovered new value that had been hidden in processes. They start networking, building positive energy and practical solutions, benefiting from each others’ knowledge and experience.”

Career trajectory

The Value Achiever Program has the potential to fast-track its alumni’s professional development. Firstly, they have master-class-level understanding of the methodologies that max out ROI from the Celonis platform. But they also have the tangible results that this understanding achieved alongside their name.

And having piloted high-profile, C-suite-supported transformation programs that have multiplied value realization, these proven intrapreneurs establish themselves as the Process Intelligence leaders of tomorrow.

Ready to become a value achiever?

If your business is already using Celonis, your orchestra is already assembled. All the instruments for a powerful performance are in place. Now, it’s time to put a value achiever at the heart of it all and elevate that performance to a whole new level. By empowering your process CoE with game-changing understanding, the ability to realize and scale value business-wide via is a tangible opportunity.

The Spring cohorts have already begun their journeys, but we’re still accepting. These will, again, take place in Munich, Madrid, New York and Bengaluru. For more information, or to apply, visit the Value Achiever Program homepage.

Editor’s Note: The Celonis Value Achiever Program was previously called the Change Makers Program.
