Celonis Aspire

We believe in equal opportunities and in the power of education to pursue one's dreams. We want to combat educational inequality by removing financial barriers and turning educational dreams into real opportunities.

So, we designed the Celonis Aspire Program.

What do you aspire to be? How can we help you get there?

Your Dream

What do you aspire to be?

When we look to the future, we see education as the key to unleashing everyone’s potential. We believe equal education starts with equal access. And that the path to learning, discovery, and fulfilling your dreams should be available regardless of economic, geographic, or social circumstances.

Moving the needle on educational equity for the next generation

Today's youth

Today, according to the United Nations, there are 1.2 billion young people aged 15 to 24 years, accounting for 16% of the global population. By 2030 this number is projected to grow by 7% to nearly 1.3 billion. As our population grows so does the need to address challenges faced by young people - like access to education.

Hurdles to education

Yet, many young people face significant barriers, especially when it comes to secondary education. Poverty, disabilities, language barriers, gender roles, low literacy, and geographic distance are just some of the many hurdles.

Creating opportunities

When we provide knowledge and opportunities for global youth to thrive, they become a positive force to drive change. Young people must acquire the education and skills needed to contribute to a productive economy, to access the job market, and to make an impact in society.

Aspire for the future

Enhancing access to education improves the overall health and resilience of communities and even tackles climate change. Through ongoing support and investment in education, we can dramatically transform the landscape of possibilities and skills for the next generation.

Success through education

Our Story

The privilege of having access to qualitative and free education has enabled our Celonis founders to build and grow a successful company. It allowed them to go after their dream, and without it, the company wouldn’t exist.

So, when the Celonis founders won the German President’s Award in 2019, and they were asked what they wanted to do with the award money, the answer was clear: give back to society, acknowledge and appreciate their own roots, and create future value.

“Receiving access to excellent and free education is a privilege that has given me the foundation to pursue my dreams and build my own company. Throughout the time building Celonis I have drawn from this resource, and this is what made it possible for me. I truly believe that education is the most powerful lever to take control of one’s destiny and create equal opportunities for everybody.”

About Aspire

Janina - JB - 2456

“Access to education is either taken for granted, hard-earned or impossible. I believe we all have a part to play in breaking down these barriers to education. It is essential to achieving a frictionless future. I wouldn’t be where I am today without the education that helped open so many doors. It gives me confidence and inspires me to pay it forward. I am passionate and dedicated to helping others achieve their dreams through Aspire. ”

At Aspire we listen to young people’s aspirations and assess the barriers that prevent them from achieving them.

Some examples include:

  • Providing necessary learning materials: Laptops, books, computer programs, online courses, tutors, or other necessary supplies to access educational resources and skills.
  • Removing language barriers: Language learning tools and literacy programs to be able to read, write, and speak in the native language of the country where you are educated.
  • Reducing the financial burden: Tuition for study programs that can’t be paid independently due to a non-academic parental home, poverty, or other circumstances.
  • Ensuring inclusion: Measures to enable participation in education despite disabilities (e.g. technical aids and equipment, full access to an environment, or accessible/adapted housing).
  • Equalizing opportunities: Mentoring and financial support for girls to access both traditional and/or STEM education despite family obligations.
  • Shortening the distance: Means of transport (e.g. bike or public transport) or subsidized rent if the distance from home to school is a crucial barrier.
  • Providing security in uncertain times: Providing access to education denied by illness or conflict related to the pandemic.

We provide financial funding, sponsorship, and an ongoing community to help young people turn their dreams into opportunities.

We are also open to funding nonprofits and programs that share Aspire’s goals and can provide access to those in need.

  • amplifying the next generation, so global youth can achieve their dreams and positively contribute to society.

Through our founders’ personal donations and the German President Award proceeds, we started Aspire to do just that.
