Celonis continues to bring the power of Process Intelligence to people across the enterprise—data analysts, developers, and business decision makers alike—with the Celonis Process Intelligence API. Along with AgentC, a suite of AI agent tools, integrations, and partnerships, the API feeds Process Intelligence from the Celonis Process Intelligence Graph directly into the systems, collaboration tools, and AI solutions used across the enterprise.
“The Process Intelligence API highlights how Celonis is reinventing process mining by making this critical technology more accessible and open to the entire organization,” said Mohamed Karous, Director of Product Marketing. “With AgentC and the API, AI gets the process data and business context it needs to understand how the business runs and how to make it run better—so our customers can maximize the ROI of their AI deployments.”
Celonis first announced the Intelligence API at Celosphere 2022. It became generally available in March 2023. And during the Celonis:Next 2025 product showcase, the company introduced an extended Process Intelligence API that makes it even easier to securely share Process Intelligence context, metrics, and recommended actions with AI platforms such as Microsoft Copilot Studio, Amazon Bedrock, or Salesforce Agentforce.
The Process Intelligence API is a developer-friendly interface that programmatically brings Process Intelligence into third-party applications, conversational tools, and AI agents—supercharging existing investments with real-time context to drive smarter, more connected business outcomes. The Intelligence API provides the following key features:
Quick set-up for AI: Use an intuitive interface to select and share the process KPIs, context, and recommended actions with third-party apps or AI agents—automatically generating the corresponding API endpoint.
Interact with Celonis in Conversational Tools: Chat with Celonis Process Copilots using natural language directly within tools like Microsoft Teams or Slack—bringing process intelligence into the flow of daily work.
Trigger Workflows and Automations Based on Process Context: Subscribe to real-time Celonis triggers within your automation or workflow platform to respond instantly to key process moments.
Celonis Process Intelligence API in action
The Process Intelligence API provides the following key benefits to our ecosystem of customers and partners:
Turn context into action: Eliminate process blind spots across your enterprise tools and AI agents by delivering real-time, contextual insights from Celonis into every system that needs them.
Scale the Celonis effect: Extend the reach of process intelligence from BI to automation, AI, and collaboration tools—fueling innovation across more roles and functions.
Maximize your tech investments: Supercharge the ROI of existing AI and automation platforms by giving them the process intelligence they need to be truly effective and outcome-driven.
Using the Process Intelligence API is a simple and straightforward process familiar to developers:
Select the process intelligence you want to expose: Choose the relevant KPIs, process context, triggers, or recommended actions you want to share with a third-party application, workflow, or AI agent.
Generate the API endpoint: Use the intuitive interface to automatically create a secure API endpoint for the selected intelligence—ready for integration.
Configure the integration target: Define how and where the intelligence should be consumed—whether it’s a conversational interface, an automation tool, or an AI platform.
Run and test the connection: Test the integration to verify that the process insights appear correctly and are being used as intended in your external system.
Supercharge your systems with real-time context: Watch your apps, agents, and workflows get smarter and more connected—powered by Celonis process intelligence.
With the Process Intelligence API any application or AI platform can securely pull critical context, metrics, and recommended actions directly from Celonis. For example, if you’re building an AI agent for your Finance or Supply Chain teams, you can connect it to the real-time data and best-practice knowledge that Celonis provides.
