Repsol said that it has reduced total spend by 2.3 million euros via Celonis.
Speaking at Celonis World Tour 2022 Madrid, Repsol outlined how the global energy company was creating value through process excellence. Repsol was part of a customer lineup that included Telefonica, Navantia and El Corte Ingles.
Repsol operates in the oil and gas industry and covers the entire value chain in more 90 countries.
The company, which has 24,000 employees globally, started using Celonis in its Source-to-Pay processes with expansion plans that will expand use of the Celonis Execution Management System (EMS) across the organization.
Like other Celonis customers, Repsol started in one process, realized value and then rolled out plans to scale. According to Repsol's Ana Torres Ramirez, Corporate IT & Digital Business Partner and Finance & Commercial Services Director, the company plans to expand due to early gains from Source-to-Pay.
Specifically, Repsol saw a reduced spend of 2.3 million euros including 193,000 euros in total internal labor productivity.
