What does the recruitment process look like at Celonis?

Do I need an enrollment certificate?

A certificate of enrollment is required for a mandatory internship. For a voluntary internship during your studies or between/after your studies you do not need a certificate of enrollment.

Can I write my thesis with Celonis?

Yes, we offer a thesis program for students and doctoral candidates who are interested in writing about Process Mining and related aspects. It is our mission to empower the next generation of process miners, and this means that we support you and your research as good as we can. Will my internship be on-site or remote?

Generally, all internships and working student positions are on-site at the respective advertised location. However, we offer a flexible home office policy.

Is it possible to stay with Celonis after being an Intern or Working Student?

Our internship and working student positions are the ideal opportunity to kickstart your career at Celonis. While we can’t guarantee full-time employment afterwards for all roles, you are indeed allowed to participate in interview processes for permanent positions.

Do you provide Visa sponsorship to interns and working students?

In order to be eligible for an internship or working student position at Celonis, you need a valid work permit, as we, unfortunately, do not offer Visa sponsorship for these roles.

How can I prepare for an interview?

Our interviews are all about you, your professional background, personal motivation and expectations towards the desired position and Celonis. Please make sure you are able to answer questions around these topics and bring questions for your interview partners as well. We recommend having a look at our Academic Alliance website, where you can access free online training to understand our EMS better. This will give you a clear overview of Celonis’ mission, ahead of your interview.

Can I apply to multiple jobs?

Yes, of course. The recruiter will discuss in your first interview which of the roles you’ve applied for match the best with your qualifications and expectations. We recommend to apply for a maximum of 3 roles to ensure the best candidate experience.

Are there opportunities to work abroad at Celonis?

Celonis is a rapidly expanding, global business. All of our employees are encouraged to embrace this global context and take advantage of the opportunities to work abroad in one of our international offices.

Are there any application deadlines?

As a rapidly growing company, Celonis is constantly hiring and there are therefore no application deadlines.

Which training opportunities does Celonis offer to employees?

Celonis offers various trainings internally and externally around topics such as sales, prospecting, data science, management, soft skills, etc. Trainings are offered depending on your role, background and career path.

Is it possible to start as an intern and then be hired into a full-time position?

From my own experience, I can say that it is very possible. I, myself, started as an intern at Celonis, and was then taken on full time. As we are a company that is constantly growing, we like to give our interns the opportunity to stay with us full-time as far as our capacities allow, and how it suits Celonis, and of course the interns.
