A Day in the Life of a Celonaut: Gustavo Lascurain, Execution Management Consultant

Gustavo joined Celonis in January 2022 as an Execution Management Consultant and has been helping customers transform the way they work ever since. Though he’s only been with Celonis for just over a year, he’s made a huge impact on our success and culture.

He shows us what a typical day in the Madrid office looks like, and why he loves being part of our Services team.

How do you start your day?

“Every morning, I pack up my things, drink a cup of water, and head to the metro. I go to the office to work with my colleagues and enjoy events that the Celoclub organizes.”

Celoclub is our employee social group that organizes a wide range of activities including sports clubs, charity events, and even ski trips for all Celonauts. Follow our Life at Celonis Instagram for an inside look.

What is your usual day like?

“First things first, I prepare myself a cup of coffee and have some breakfast. On Wednesday, we have International Breakfast day in the office, and this week we had Venezuelan breakfast.”

A staple in the Madrid office. Each week, the team get together to socialize and enjoy a cultural breakfast in the communal dining area.

“After breakfast, I start preparing meetings with customers to help them improve and remove inefficiencies in their processes by using our own platform, the EMS. It’s an amazing experience working with customers and seeing them improve their processes.”

Our Services team lives and breathes customer value. They are the go-to people for helping our customers implement Celonis software, succeed in change management, and thrive through setting objectives and strategic goals that are tailored to their needs.

“Today, we had a visit from Alex, our CEO. He came down from New York to show us our new office.”

After growing to over 400+ Celonauts in Madrid in just over 2 years, the Madrid team now has its own office with traditional workstations, collaboration areas, and an auditorium for showings.

What do you do after work?

“After a long day, we go to the main floor of our office to work, play some pool and talk about our life.”

The Madrid office also has dedicated social areas, a Mother’s Room, and a roof terrace for team events. Work hard, play hard. That’s the motto.
